LEVEL 2 BOARDER

Here at Penketh Primary School we are very lucky take part in the Warrington School Sports Partnership & School Games Level 2 compeitions. It Allowes our children to gain a great sporting experince.

EYSFA Y5&6 Football

Our Year 4,5&6 boys and girls took part in the English Schools Football Association  festival on Thursday 24th November 2016. The team consisted of Harry A (Y6) Callum T (Y6), Dylan M (Y6), Lewis B (Y5), Tilly T (Y5) and Hollie G (Y4). The team played extremily well and won three out of seven games with scoring some great goals. Well done to all involved. A big thank you to warrington cars who took the children and Mrs Wilcock.

Y3 Road to Goodison Football

On the 1st December our Year 2 and 3 footballers took part in the Road to Goodison competion. Our Footballers did an amazing job finishing 3rd place with a fantastic record of six wins and two loss's. The team played some amazing football and here at penketh we are very proud. The team consisted of Issac H, Jamie W, Max A, Tayla S, Josh D, Zac B and Jamie O. A big thanks to Mrs Bold and Warrington cars who took the children to the event. 

Year 4 Road To Goodison

Monday 2nd Feburay saw our Year 4 footballers take part in the Road to Goodsion Qualifer. Our Year 4 did a brilliant job reaching the semi finals and ended up winning the 3rd place play-off. Overall the children were brilliant, playing some fantastic attacking football and defensive football plus they showed some fantastic team sprit. Well done to all who were involved. The team consisted of Alfie H, Jack G, Liam O, Hollie G, Keira B, Molly M, Toby D, Josh P and Danny L. A big thanks to Mrs Bold and Warrington Cars. 

Year 5&6 Netball

On Monday 13th Febuary 2017 our Year 5&6 Netball team took part in the High 5 Cluster Netball Tournament at Penketh High School. Our Girls did amazingly well. With a perfect winning record the girls finished as winners and will take part in the Warrington High 5 Netball Finals at the Ball Hall on Monday 6th March 2017. Well done to every who was invloved. The team consisted of Chloe S, Tilly T, Chloe L, Jessica H, Daisy S and Katie M A big thank you to Mrs Titchard to taking the girls to the tournament.

Year 6 Road To Goodison

Our Year 6 Footballers took part in the Year 6 Road To Goodison Football Festival on the Monday 13th February 2017. The Year 6's did a great job reaching the Quarter finals with a record of three wins and two defeats. The team consisted of  Haldana J, Will H, Adam G, Zack P, Jack B, Matthew P, Adam S, Alex L and Harry L. They played some great football through out the day and here at Penketh we are all proud. Well Done. Thanks again to Mrs Bold and Warrington Cars for taking the children to the event.  

Year 5 Road To Goodison

On Thursday 16th February 2017 our Year 5 Footballers finished of half term four with a trip to Orford Jubille Hub to take part in the Year 5 Road To Goodison Football Festival. The team did brilliantly and played some great football throught out the day. With a record of the three wins, one draw and one defeat the team got knocked out at the quater final stage. We are so proud of everyone who was involved. Well done. The team consisted of Jasmine E, Tilly U, Callum B, Lewis B, Sam K, Jack W, Matthew M, Jacob H and Simeon B. Year 5&6 Netball Warrington Finals

After our Year 5&6 Netball team were successful in the High 5's Level 2 Cluster tournament, they went on to compete in the Warrington Level 2 Netball Finals ran by Warrington school sport partnership. The Girls did a great and played some lovely attacking netball. The girls unfortunately didn't progress to the Level 3 finals and overall finished 5th. The team consisted of Chloe S, Tilly T, Chloe L, Jessica H, Daisy S and Katie M. Here at Penketh we all proud of the teams achievement. A big thank you to Mrs. Bold and Warrington Cars for supporting us with the transport.
