Extra Curricular Clubs

Our pupils are offered a wide range of clubs throughout the year.

Our Woodwind club is provided by Mrs Paton-Jones from Penketh High School.

We are lucky to have a Brass Specialist teacher who teaches small group ensembles.

Ocarina and choir are just two of the other clubs that we have on offer.

All of the clubs join together to perform at different points during the year, these include:

Singing in Golden Square, Penketh High School Concerts and local Care homes.

Performing at Sir Thomas Boteler High School.

Leading a Summer concert for parents and carers.

Taking part in the Warrington Hospital Intensive Care Memorial Service.

Music Tuition

We offer many opportunities for our children to take part in Music Tuition. This is provided in school by both external private tutors and also staff who work in the Music Department at Penketh High School. Currently we offer lessons in Brass, Woodwind, Guitar & Piano. If you require any further information, please contact the school office.

Music in our Lessons

We are very lucky to have musicians come in to help us with some of our Music.

Y4 have been learning how to play the Ukuleles on Mondays with Mr Gugiarri, from Penketh High School. Some of the other KS2 classes will also enjoy this later in the Year.

In Term 2, Year 4 enjoy Africa Drumming with Mr Clarke, from Sir Thomas Boteler High School. Mr Clarke will also teach Samba to Year 6 in Term 3.

We regularly perform as part of these groups to a variety of audiences.
