Choir at Christmas

Music Awards Dec 2016

Music Awards were given to a large number of pupils from both KS1 and KS2 in December 2016. This was due to their representation of our school at outside events, which included performing at our Christmas Fayre and singing with the Choir or Boy's choir at Penketh High School Carol Concert. Most children also sang in Golden Square Shopping Centre, where we raised £224 to hekp develop our music within school.

Videos of our Music

We will soon be uploading a variety of video clips, which shows all of our musical talent.

Keep checking back for regular updates!

Music - National Curriculum

Music Tuition

We offer many opportunities for our children to take part in Music Tuition. This is provided in school by both external private tutors and also staff who work in the Music Department at Penketh High School. Currently we offer lessons in Brass, Woodwind, Guitar & Piano. If you require any further information, please contact the school office.

Music in our Lessons

We are very lucky to have musicians come in to help us with some of our Music.

Y4 and Y5 have been learning how to play the Ukuleles on Mondays with Mr Gugiarri, from Penketh High School. Some of the other KS2 classes will also enjoy this later in the Year.

In Term 2, Year 4 have started Africa Drumming with Mr Clarke, from Sir Thomas Boteler High School. We look forward to performing for everyone soon. Mr Clarke will also teach Samba to Year 6 in Term 3.
